Cancellation Policy

**Refund and Cancellation Policy** (in brief) Rivercity Roadworthys & Mechanical aims to provide fair and transparent booking, cancellation and refund arrangements while complying with Australian Consumer Law. Customers have rights to refunds, repairs or other remedies if services are not supplied with acceptable care and skill, within a reasonable time, or as otherwise required under statutory guarantees. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Bookings paid in advance reserve an inspection appointment and mobile service allocation. If a customer wishes to cancel an upcoming booking for personal scheduling reasons unrelated to issues with service delivery, Rivercity Roadworthys & Mechanical may offer a credit voucher of equal value for future use. Credit vouchers may be redeemed on any standard service. A credit voucher option is not applied where it would be unsuitable because the customer is located outside the service area. In that situation, a refund will be processed to the original payment method. All cancellations will incur an adminitration fee. Where a booking is cancelled because the location is outside the defined mobile service coverage, and this prevents the service from proceeding, the payment will be returned to the original payment method. Where statutory guarantees apply due to a failure under the Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to the appropriate remedy, which may include a refund. Where a customer cancels without any statutory remedy applying, and Rivercity Roadworthys & Mechanical has already attended onsite or attempted to deliver the service, fees may be adjusted to reflect work performed, reasonable costs or wasted travel. Any remaining balance may be applied as a credit voucher unless the circumstances require a refund to the original payment method as noted above. Rivercity Roadworthys & Mechanical may request information needed to complete a refund. Timeframes for financial institutions to return funds may vary. If a customer disagrees with how a remedy has been assessed, clarification can be requested and concerns will be reviewed promptly.
