Service Description

MOBILE Roadworthy Inspection for any light vehicles up to and including 4.5 tonne GVM such as Cars, Utility's or Vans for registration in Queensland. This includes State registration transfers, Uber and booked hire C.O.I's as well.

Cancellation Policy

**Cancellation, Refund Policy and Terms of Service for Rivercity Roadworthys and Mechanical Appointments** 1. Partial Refund Eligibility: If you cancel your appointment at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled booking, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Official cancellations can be made via phone call or text message to 0409870059. 2. Refund Process: Upon cancellation, the refund will be processed through your initial payment method. Please note that the timeline for receiving the refund is 7 to 10 business days. The exact duration is determined by your financial institution and is beyond the control of Rivercity Roadworthys and Mechanical. 3. Administration Fee: Your refund will be sent to you less an administration fee of $44.90 (including GST). This fee applies to all services except Pre-Purchase Inspections, which will incur an administration fee of $84.90 (including GST). 4. Non-Event Appointments: Rivercity Roadworthys and Mechanical will not issue refunds for appointments considered a "non-event." A "non-event" occurs in the following situations: - You are not available for your appointment, and Rivercity Roadworthys and Mechanical has attended your address ready for inspection (e.g., you are out, and the vehicle is not accessible). - Your vehicle is not in a suitable place for inspection (e.g., trailers or campers on grass, hills, or dirt). - Your vehicle / trailer does not need one - Your vehicle is not available for inspection at the scheduled time (e.g., it has not arrived on a car carrier as expected). - You are uncontactable during the appointment, and Rivercity Roadworthys has attended the address (a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes is allocated). 5. TERMS OF SERVICE: All vehicles and trailers must be on a hard, flat surface and accessible from all sides for inspection or measurement. This includes cars, light vehicles, motorcycles, trikes, sidecars, and trailers. - Any vehicle or trailer not suitable for inspection on the day may be cancelled at Rivercity Roadworthys discretion and no refund given. - It is preferred that you (the owner) be present for the inspection, but it is not necessary. - Any keys left out are at you (the owners) risk and Rivercity Roadworthys will accept no responsibility for them. - RAIN events: -All vehicles inc Motorcycles are road tested. - Bookings may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. - Bookings made with Rivercity Roadworthys are for Brisbane or Redlands suburbs only.
